The contract is yours, but one person cannot do all of it inside the timeline.

We work as additional capacity on a clearly bounded part of the job: screening and summarising documents, transcribing a set of interviews, or preparing tables and charts while you write.

NGOs and community-based organisations

A donor expects documentation that nobody has the time to produce.

Workshop proceedings, activity reports, consultation summaries and evidence behind a programme design. We work to the structure your donor requires rather than imposing our own.

This is where the specialist focus matters. Evidence reviews and analytical briefs on crime, justice and public safety questions, with sources recorded throughout and the limits of the evidence stated plainly.

If you are not on this list

The list describes who the services were designed around, not a restriction. If your organisation needs research, analysis, transcription or reporting and the work is something we can do properly, it is worth asking.

What we will not do is accept work we are not equipped for. If an enquiry needs specialist capability we do not have, or an approval we do not hold, we will say so rather than take it on and under-deliver.

We also take assignments elsewhere in Africa, and occasionally further afield, where the work, the client's requirements and the delivery arrangements make sense. Most of what we do is desk based, so location matters less than scope and deadline. On-site work such as a rapporteur assignment is a different matter, and travel is agreed separately.
